Explosive burst is a good alternative if you want elemental damage too. I tend to like the explosive shot ability because you effectively get a grenade machine gun, but this is only available on 'common' rarity rifles that don't have elemental damage. The Tesla's Wrath sniper rifle when upgraded in a vault is great for maximum one-shot damage.Īny tier 6 assault rifle with a high rate of fire.
The beam goes through enemies so they're great for wiping out groups, with the one disadvantage being limited range. The Gnome Gun and Erchius Eye are both similar, but still don't match the damage output even when upgraded in a vault. They're only tier 5 and can't be upgraded in an ancient vault, but the Aegisalt Pistols when dual-wielded are excellent (and can be crafted by any player).
